HEAT = FUN!

The past three weeks have been extreeeeeeeemely hot here in Finland. Sleeping at night has been nearly impossible in these temperatures. I’ve never been a fan of hot weather—it just doesn’t suit a Finn. Or at least, not this Finn.

While struggling with sleepless nights, I’ve used the extra time to revisit and refurbish some old doodles. There’s a lot of unfinished material scattered across my hard drive and various drawing platforms, so I decided to do a bit of digital cleaning.

Surprisingly, many of the drawings have a solid foundation. A few have just a handful of dynamic lines, but you can already sense the potential. Others are more developed but still feel a bit “off.” Often, it’s just small things: a character might look good, but the sense of movement is missing. Or maybe the personality isn’t quite there yet. In those cases, I’ve decided to continue working on them as soon as I can—though “as soon as possible” sometimes stretches out thanks to life, work, and other responsibilities.

Anyway,. Lot of stuff has been cooking in the pot in the past and it is nice to close things away from the table.
